This is a link for the record blue catfish, one was just caught, over 100 lbs. I believe the record is over 120 lbs. largest catfish in the world next to the wels. They are common all over America, mostly in rivers. You should add one of these to your collection of monster cats.

He doesnt look that skinny anymore also he got his colors back. Its safe to say its a Lica. He will be fine at 84F. If the other fish will compete for the hideout and the goonch is feeding regardless without a hideout i would leave it as it is. i had the same feeding "issues" with some of my goonch sometimes they eat sometimes not. Feeding behavior seems to vary from individual fish not much from species. Below is my Rutilus, he is the complete opposite while feeding.

Nowhere near second largest in the world. It's likely the largest in North America but there are a number of cats (in addition to the Wels) in other parts of the world much larger than the blue. Yeah, I read that bit of misinformation on the IGFA site; two minutes of research will show that it simply is not true.
Not a fan at all of the “new” naming catagorization for Goonch. In my understanding lica should have much more defined amber and shaded markings and much less motteling.
Bock to the old naming convention for me where this meets almost all the criteria of bagarius bagarius ( all bar the slightly crooked dorsal fin which all certain b.b seem to sport)
