Hey everyone, reaching out for some help regarding my goonch catfish. I’ve had him or around 2 months at the beginning everything was fine as time went on he stopped eating as much. He will try and eat but very shortly after he will spit out the food any tips?

What are you feeding? How big is it? What’s your water change schedule? Can you post your water parameters?
Tilapia, shrimp, silver sides, he is around 9 inch , 50 % once a week, and water temp 80 to 82
Had mine 2 years now and during that time he has had he odd stint of not eating paricularly when he was quite new to the tank.
Now mine decides when he wants food and when he does he comes for it at feeding time and takes a load but its always on his terms unlike other fish that eat everything offered
I personally wouldnt worry too much if your tank params and other fish are fine. Mine feeds with lights on as well
