agree with the current comment get a very strong power head and point it down twords him he will thank you might make feeding pellets harder though

he's not going to eat pellets first off period get him on feeders first just to get something in his stomach and then starve him

Mine loves silver sides. It will also eat market shrimp and massivor pellets. Of course an occasional ciclid gets eaten once in a while too

Never seen it eat. I just put the food in at night and the next morning it's gone. That's why I was watching this vid lol. I would love to see a goonch eat!

there is a lot of current in the tank, the current in the tank is almost 5 times the volume of the tank

hikari cichlid gold
ghost shrimp
hikari massivore
earthworms
meal worms & super worms

yeah so true and from what i have noticed he ignores food especially when he is keeping an eye on me when i am too close to the tank during feeding time

the day the video was taken my goonch was already more than 6 months in my care.
he is still doing great, going for food in swift movements when he feels safe that is.

have it already as said above and he eventually gets his food, as i have seen him hunt down barillius canarensis and Devario aequipinnatus without much trouble

i got him on pellets within the first week of his arrival, when it comes to kitties i quite know what i am doing
