Goonch stealing Adonis pleco's food

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
It looks funny how the goonch is just swimming by, like a photo boom in the back, and just stumbles on the adonis and takes his lunch like a school bully!
Both are very nice looking fish BTW.

Nice capture and that was one of the few times I can recall seeing a goonch actually moving around.

Really???
I have kept 3 LLG till date, and they have always been super active, right before dinner and till all food disappears, although all the while I kept them with the tors, they had simply stopped swimming, as they weren't getting any food, now they just don't stop eating food, and I think the summer also has triggered their appetite, will share another video of them cruising around the tank.

the HLG in the same tank, doesn't swim even to eat, I have to drop food right in front of him, only then does he open his mouth to eat, else he would just stay still and let the food get picked up by the others

I've only ever worked with rutilus and those dang things never moved, either.

I'd agree yours seem to be the most active I've seen, they'd be much more appealing if all were like that once settled
