gor silver arow question

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
depending on size, start with bloodworms but make sure they float. you can the upgrade to meal worms and small pellets..everything needs to float, ok?

Good luck.

i'm going to start with pellet's then after a bit. will have a combo of pellet's and live feeder guppies/gf

i do not recommend guppies and gf, in my experience/opinion, making a aro dive and chase can lead to early drop eye, some may dissagree but this is from my experience. also it gives your aro the taste of eating live fish which can be unwanted in the long run as it may end up eating tankmates in the future. again this is just from my experience.

i just got a baby juvinull silver arow, woundering what do people usually feed it.

Well, my buddy and I dedcided to get a display tank for the tattoo shop I work at and are starting out a baby silver that just lost its egg sack about a month ago and is currently at his house in a 55 gallon for the mean time. We are feeding it small pieces of freeze dry shrimp, hikari food sticks crumpled in the hand, freeze dried bloodworms, freeze dried brine shrimp and baby guppies. It's not old enough to eat baby crickets and here in hawaii, the prices are outlandish.....$8 for a small bundle of them. Maybe I'll start feeding him caviar...lol. Well I wanna make this guy very vibrant in color so any suggestion? I know that shrimp make their tails a little pinkish....I just want to make a purdy fish for our shop....by the way he'll be in a 200 gallon tank for his final home!:D

what do you recommend as my aro get's older to feed it?
