gorilla glue for my background

hello i am about to start on a 3d foam/drylock background and was wondering if i could use gorilla glue (the origonal brown stuff) to glue my foam pieces together. localy i can only get 1 inch foam so to get some of the formations i will have to laminate multiple pieces together to get the thickness i need. i will be covering all the exposed foam with drylock
