got 2 of 3 dats to eat... need help on the third

it started with my NGT. Finally got the bastard to eat something besides feeders. He's eating dried krill. Almost a week later my wide bar started to eat the krill. Now during that week, my wide bar would test it out and eventually accept the krill. Now my third wide bar isn't even showing much interest in the krill. He doesn't even try to taste the food. Seems like his mentality is stilll stuck on live. It's very fustrating to say the least. I would love to get my third dat to try krill so eventally it would eat it.


My main goal is to get them on mp.

Any suggestions for my third dat to start trying the krill? All i can come up with now is just plain ol starvation and hopes that the dat will also do the monkey see monekey do thing as my other 2 dats are eating krill.

If your main goal is MP, try skipping the FD krill. Usually peoples main goal is to get them on FD and pellets with the MP being the intermediate step. IME I've gotten dats to take MP easier than FDK. Starvation is the only way to train them. If they dont take the MP try soaking it in with some FD krill to get the scent of "food" on it. GL

if they taste mp or krill keep trying if they taste they will eat it in a day or 2... i bought a big indo that would only eat live last winter now eats mp...
