Got a 40 Gallon Breeder looking for stock ideas

Hey Guys,

I bought a 40 gallon breeder a couple weeks ago on sale. This will be a secondary tank for me and i am looking for some stock ideas. I want something community but not typical (i dont mind to spend money on fish) (I am thinking Geophagus but i know the tank may not be big enough)
It will be equipped with a Fluval 405 Canister filter and I always do water change once a week. Fun suggestions!

Nothing like an empty tank to daydream about stocking!

u can do blue acara, angelfish, keyholes....

get a shoal of Exodon Paradoxus. Mine live with corys & bichers atm in the same tank.

Would need more specifics for what you want in the tank.

peaceful or aggressive?
a lot of small fish or 1-2 medium fish
what type of community fish personality are you looking for? Aggressive schooling, pairing, singled.


I went with Exodons in my 40B but before that I had GBR's (German Blue Rams)
