Hi,
I initially posted

http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=285257

When I thought I was getting a 55G tank.
I ended up finding a 80G tank for an additional $50.. I thought it was worth it seeing how it came with the whole set up + fish + canopy.

It had a black sprayed background, but it got a gap during the move so
I decided to blade it off for now.. Will add it back on later.

Although I've spent money on a new filter (Tetra X70), heater (Aqueon 300w), air pump (Rena 200), I think it worked out to be a way better overall deal. (Sold the old equipment..)

Got 19 random Africans in there.. Had 20 but lost one last saturday.
Mixed gravel - about 50% of crush coal and lava rocks.

Sorry the quality isn't the greatest because I took them with my laptop as you can probaly see in the reflections.
Don't mind the random sponge filter in the middle, someone is picking it up tomorrow and I'm just keeping it wet.

Hi,
the fish came as part of the package, everything was running as it is at some where else.

we basically disassembled the set up and assembled it back on an hour later after it was delivered.

as for the water, we had 2 buckets saved of the previously running water, and I added about 20G per day since.

Did I do everything right? I'm new to this.
I did lose a fish 2 days after that was acting strange from day 1.

Nice. Did you have the same pic of the tank reflecting in the tank for the pictures?

As long as you used to filters that were on it, you should be OK.
