Got a betta

I went to petco to get something and saw this beauty. I went home, spent 10 days going around west coast (5000 miles) on holidays. After I came back, got 7 gallon frameless tank and went back to store, that betta was still there, other 20-30 betta that were with him were sold. May be I don't have a good eye or was extremely lucky. I have added 3 plant bulbs, 2 seems to be doing well, more would be coming.

That's a beautiful Betta. Never knew Calico colored one like that was created.

wow, I’m not even a huge betta fan considering all I see are basic red ones near me lol.

I like wild type bettas better than most designer bettas, but there are a good few breeds and colors that are just amazing.
Ruturaj ’s is definitely part of those beautiful ones!

I am not fan of bettas with large fins, they have hard time moving around. Wild are definitely interesting but I just love koi like colors. I guess what I really want is koi pond as well ?
