Got a fire eel

I have been looking for a good size (cheep) fire eel for quite some time I finally found one as the LFS he around 13 inches and eatting shrimp alredy

I got an endli as well. to replace my old one i sold

Congrats! Fire Eels are the best...every once in a while it bites me so I can give him attention while I am feeding my other fish.

Really? Do they normally not eat shrimp? He ate 3 chunks with in 20 min of being in the tank
