well I wanted a tomato frog for ever and I went to the shop today to pic something for an empty 10 gallon.I was going to do a kenyan sand boa or viper geckos but Im going to save the cash for either the BTS or an ackies. So for now I figured I would get my first froggy, lol.I will get pics of mine soon but for now this little guy looks the same, and as you can see from the other pic they get quite large,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,jk.My question to you guys is,how do you sex them and at what size, they had 2 but I didnt want 2 of the same but would love to try breeding later if I can keep them alive.I here they are hardy,I hope. Also are they hard to breed, but mainly the sexing question if you can help.Sure is a cute little dude.Wish I knew the sex.TomatoFrogAdult001.JPG

ok,the guy at the shop made it clear that they needed uvb so I bought the bulb even though I knew I didnt read they needed it though I also didnt read otherwise. It dosnt come up much when researching them other than they dont like too much bright light.I did some more research and I still read they dont like bright light and some ppl keep them in tubs with just room light their entire lives so what gives.Who knows whats up with these frogs.Ive read all I can find and even reptiles mag says nothing about lighting.

Very nice frog you got there.

well he ate good and all, unlike the first 3 weeks of my crested.I had no idea this little frog could nail crix so fast.
