got a leak what should i do

ok so the new (to me) tank was filled with water just to the edge of the internal overflow box after sitting for about 4 hours now the overflow box has somwe water leaking into it which is leaking out the bulkhead seal. i plean to get a new rubber seal but is the water leaking through the overflow box a big deal

If it is leaking lower than your full line then it will be a problem. When the power goes out the tank will continue to drain to the lowest point which could overflow your sump.

it's a very minor leak, how do i fix it? do i just remove the silicone and then re-silicone the overflow box into the tank?

ok thankyou i will prolly unglue and reatach the overflow in the corner and reseal inside of the tank with ge 1 silicone
