Got a new Cat. He's so cool!! :)

I saw this guy at my work. I didnt know what it was and neither did anyone else. :lmao:

So I looked it up in a Fish index and then went online and got some info on him. I HAD to have him.

Its called an Agamyxis Pectinifrons. Or White Spotted Raphael Catfish or White Spotted Doradid.

He'll get about 5".. maybe 6". A very peaceful community fish. Though he has spines just about everywhere.

I ended up buying one same way you did.

Found one swim around and into our intake filter boxes. Had to get him out so we took the box apart and dumped them out.

Ended up with a large spotted and large striped cat. Fallowed by abunch of spotted and striped babys.

Just had to get the striped guy.

And they a GREAT at eating snails.

Just dont expect to see them offten.
