There are a couple of fish that could go by that name. They are typically aggressive with smaller fish and other loaches. Tankmates?

Hes in my main tank with my birchirs, apollo sharks, giraffe nose, silver dollar, rainbow cichlid, gippy plec, bristle-nose, Severum, clarias and asian stinging catfish (is all that comes to mind right now lol)

Could be Syncrossus helodes, Syncrossus berdmorei, Syncrossus hymenophysa or Syncrossus beauforti. I have some information about these tiger loaches in the sticky threads. All of these species are extremely aggressive. Keep a watch on your plecos. I have seen mine bitten off several common plecos and some even lost their eyes in the process before I bought these tiger loaches. I warned the LFS not to keep any loach they do not know with anything unless they are sure that the loach is safe to be kept with. Your bichirs, clarias and severums will also suffer considerable damage if the tiger loach starts harassing everyone.

I don't see any problem with those tankmates.

there are a lot of tiger loaches. a couple of possibilities could be Botia hymenophysa or Botia dario

I have never heard of Botia dario being called tiger loach. As far as I know, they are labeled even by their suppliers as queen loach or Bengal loach. Both the Syncrossus helodes and Syncrossus hymenophysa are the most commonly available of all tiger loaches albeit the Syncrossus genus only. My money is on the helodes. It has been sold far more than the hymenophysa.
