Got a new snake!

Just had to share the news. I had a coworker give me a ball python. He had it about 6 months, decided that he didn't want it and new I loved reptiles, so gave it to me to take care of.

Yup totally free, and the 29gallon tank, lights, decorations, screen top and stand! I could'nt pass it up. Besides, I've been wanting to get one anyways.

Female? How can you tell? Thats what my gut says, but this is my first python. We took some pics of the vent too, just in case we needed to sex it.

Couple more pics, the wife was taking pics and caught a pic of a yawn! She thought it was trying to bite me, I couldn't even see it from where my hands were.

I thought I saw the word 'she' in there... it's late and i'm fried lol. Either way though, it's a great free gift, it's a beauty.
