So I got a new snakehead today. but i have no idea what it is. I posted several pics in the Other monster fish forum so hopefully i'll have a reply soon. But anyways mean while here are some pics of my snakehead and my old one.
This is my new baby, aint he cute?:
When i first put the bag the new snakehead was in, into the water my rainbow swam up to it and was REALLY intrested in his new tankmate: Kept swimming around saying whats up and everything. Then i got out my camera and took this foto:
Eventually my rainbow got bored and went to the left of the tank to chill in some plants:
Once I opened the bag up the rainbow got a little shy and hide on the left corner of my tank and the new SH swam into the bushes on the right pretty scared:
My rainbow poked his head out and gave me a look:
He slowly inched his way over to the other side of the tank to take a look at his new buddy:
Eventually he was chillin wit his new friend:
for some reason once my rainbow got comfortable wit his new friend his colours started to get more deep. As you can see in the last pic under his mouth it was more blue. His brown on his body got a deeper brown and the colouration on his dorsal and anal fins got more blue. Like he was showing off.
