Got a pathetic java fern, will it grow?

i recently got a very very small, somewhat dying piece of java fern, do you think it will still grow and have a good come-back? i have the right light, fluorite, ect. i know they are pretty hardy.

no pics sorry. but it seems to be doing ok, not any new growth but it has kinda healed up it looks like, and looks darker green/ healthier. so i think it will do fine

java ferns are tough . . . my tanks are full of 'em, great low-maintenance plant . . . it should bounce back, no prob
