I was given a 100 gal tank thats internal measurements are 71in x 17in x 18in and i was wondering if this would be adequate for housing:
2x ropefish,
2x polypterus senegalus
and maybe
6x banjo cats
6x striped Raphael cats.

i know its fine for the cats my question is about the ropefish and the sens. I haven't purchased any of the fish yet, I wanted to get your opinions on capacity and compatibility. Also if this works and I could still add something else what would you recommend? anyfeed back opinions or ideas would all be greatly appreciated!! :D :D :D

You might want to try this post in the polypterus (bichirs) forum in the Acient section. Not sure about the interaction between the bichirs and cats but the bichirs will be fine in a tank that size.

The ropefish would be fine. I have 3 in a 125 along with a senagalus and they get along fine.

The cats should be a non-issue as long as they're big enough for the sen to ignore. If they're tiny he may have a go at them lol.
