Got a royal pleco!

Love royals and I finally found a lfs that would get them for me! So I bought 2 5"(with tail) royals for my 165!

Nice congrats! Probably the only fancy pleco i would dish out money for. Look like a good size too!

Very nice I love the way these guys look especially their eyes. Get your gravel vac handy if you have driftwood in your tank.

Thanks! Yea I have driftwood in there for them to munch on. This type is my favorite pleco but I finally found a place where it wouldnt break the bank to get one so I couldnt resist. They are surprisingly active so far in the tank (only been an hour).
 
My lfs has a 2" for $50 that I'd love to have but I just can't bring myself to drop 50 on it
 
Yea I got these from a LFS that is actually not even opening until tomorrow but the owner is really nice and I posted on her store facebook page that I would really like some royals and she said she could get them at 3" for $18 but when they came in this AM she said they were closer to 6" (though they are 5") and asked if $20 each was ok lol So I bought both the ones she ordered
