Got a small tigrinus need info

Hey all been awhile since i posted here... i lost my RTG arowana a coupel of months back and been pretty sad so i havent really been bothering with any other fish since.

I did try with another small tigrinus before this one from same seller i bought him a coupel of days after he got it and my small tank was pretty new back then and he died a few days later =/.

Anyway this new tigrinus is aprox 3" and he already ate a small neontetra the first night i got him and hes taken another one of them just yesterday .
I only had 3 neontetras so i moved the little last one to my bigger tank so he doesnt get too used to live food.

Currently keeping it in a 30 gallon tank with 1 aquel innerfilter , 2x fluval 3+ innerfilters , and a powerhead think its 1500 L / H not sure .

hes going in a 175Gallon tank later when hes bigger.

So im mainly looking for advices now so i dont loose this one too!

Should i try to get him eating shrimp straight away instead of going with bloodworms ?

Dont got any pics right now since my cellphone is broken and my digicam aswell i will get pictures later on tho!

You can try the shrimp or anything other than bloodworms. Tigs love the bloodworms.

True Tigs love Bloodworm but try to get them onto more substantial foods also as bloodworm is mainly made up of water & has a relatively low nurtitional value.

Try feeding it earthworms if you can find any and add shrimp when it gets a little bigger.

Hes already eating shrimp! just 1 day after he aten a feeder... this fish seems very promising never had one this easy to start going on shrimp. hope he turns out to be a real beast!
