Got a tall hex need a crab

Ok I'm getting a 50+gallon (uk) 5ft tall hex tank and just incase i cant find a huge fish net I think its a good idea to get somesort of crab that will eat ant dead tetras or something that die. It has to compatible with clown and/or coolie loaches and somesort of plec. The other fish will be safe as long as the crab doesnt swim

No FW crab is compatible with bottom fish. Crabs are hunter predators and will take any opportunity to kill and eat a fish.

hmmmm ok a crab is out then anything else that is OK for eating fishy corpses and still compatable?

You are unlikely to find any thing that is totalt reliable, a section of 1-1 1'2" tubing about 36" long connected to several feet of 1/2 flexible tubing will work to siphon out small corpses and trumpet snails are pretty effective as well but can become a problem in their own right.

Peru Glass shrimp, Malaysian trumpet snails will devour a body fairly fast also.

I don't think that market crab is compatible with khuli loaches , I hope you find what you need but you should keep trying to find a bigger net!

Trapdoor snails may be the only scavengers that would be able to stand up to your loaches. Any shrimp will be food. MTS would do the trick except the loaches will make short work of them.
