For my B-day, I got a $5 dollar fish cop'un. It was goinng to x-spire today, so I figured I'd make use of it. Found a moderate looking 2" texas among several 5-8" oscars, and I have always wanted one after have a jag./texas hybrid. I put a bagg of feeder in to destact the other fish. a little fin nipping happend but thats to be expected. so far, so good

I'm also curious as to what else is in the tank. And Texas can get quite territorial as I had one that could be with anything else in my 60g tank and was still a juvi.

well, I hope to get at least a 125 this summer, but for know, hesin a 55 with a 10" carapo knife that keeps to itself unless bit, a 4" pictus cat(common type), 2" JD, 3" KK parrot, 3.5" Female Red Devil, 7-9" male KK parrot(bred with RD not to long ago, eggs were infertile), and a 5" bicher. I have a smaller alibino bicher growing out in a 10 gal. thats going in soon. Its a little overstocked with the larger parrot and the carapo. the lfs said the bigger parrot was to big, so they made me an offfer i could not refuse ($20), then a couple weeks later, they got in a mystery knife (carapo) and gave it to me for only $10. You know how these things get. I start detasilling for a 3rd year next week, then after that, I will start working at an expensive icecream shop(tcby) to get upgrade money. If I can afford it, I will keep the 55 as a breeder tank. I am thinking I will get a jaguar, and hybridize it with the texas. I had an 7-8" texas jag that was awsome. it had the pattern of a Jag, but it was also completely iredescent like a texas. I had to give it to my science teacher, but it jumped after a few monthes( I was going to get it back as soon as I upgraded.)

I keep trying to, but the computer won't let me convert the pics to jpegs.
