I went to a few LFS yesterday. Found 1 new one in the area that I didn't know about. I was going to get an 8" lima, but they wanted $100 for it. I found a store with a 2.5" lima and tsn for $20 a piece. I went out yesterday to get a lima.... Knowing they don't get as big, and having only seen them in stores around here.... But when I saw the TSN I changed my mind. It took about 30 minutes to make the decision and I really like TSNs a lot more than Limas, so it wasn't a complete impulse buy. I have him in a 30g now, then I have a 90g for him, and then a 180g. He shouldn't outgrow the 180 for a few years right? I am at work right now, but I think its 5'x2'Dx3'H.. or something like that... I was hoping like 5 years to ourgrow the 180. By then I will have a 500+ that should house him for a good while after that. Then If I need more I guess I'll have to build a pond. I took 1 pic of him yesterday, but it wasn't that good. I'll get more today. He ate a nice sized piece of shrimp about 2 hours after acclimation and has fattened nicely!

great buy how big is he. i picked one up about 2" for $15. will move to a 90g then hopefully a pond!!

He can stay in his 30g until he's about 5" or until I have ANY idea that he MIGHT be able to eat my small pbass, maybe 2 months?? Then go in a 90g with a 7" pbass and a 9" Syndontis. That is 18" wide, so hopefully that will last him 18 months or a little less from now and he can then go in the 180g.
