they are together, but if the gibbus lasts the night im going to clean out another tank for it and separate them. the gibbus is 3" and this new one is like 7" and 5 times the mass.
they were at 2 diff shops. I haven't bought fish for over a year and was really not digging the hobby at all. yesterday I cleared out my tank and am going characin crazy.
I hope the Cyno makes it too. They should be separated, but you're all ready all over that. Both of these species are slow growing, but so much so that I don't think the Cyno will ever catch up to the tat.
Nice snag and good luck. Hopefully that Cyno makes it, but highly doubt it will. I'm pretty sure the tat is gonna get extremely aggressive and eventually kill it. Hopefully I'm wrong though.
