Got bartoni? some pictures...

here are some nandopsis bartoni that i have. four 1.5-2" guys i got from conkel.
really nice, but they seem to be on some kind of natural high because they never stop swimming around back and forth in the tank

last week they were somewhat plain whitish fish, but since around yesterday 3 of them have turned half black. it's really cool to see. the flash really washes out the colors, but hopefully you get a sense of what's to come... the last guy/girl is still chilling out doing its thang...

last of all i have two poor pictures of my F0 grammodes
eats like a pig and i think he must love the NLS cichlid food.
sorry about the algae in his tank... i'll get around to cleaning it later.

Beautiful I had some Bartoni not too long ago AWESOME!!!!! They came with a parasite and their demise was about two months . Nothing worked Working on getting another set of 10-15 5 just wasn't enopugh of these beauties

yeah these guys are really amusing.
i think they must be substrate feeders as they never eat food that is still floating on the surface. even food that's sinking won't be touched until it touches the tank bottom. THEN they eat. very interesting i am wondering if i should be putting some sand or what not in the tank... but that's such a pain to clean

yeah the grammodes is cool. i wish my huge male ate like that... if he did he would be backing on the ounces

Mine ate as it fell.. Depending on what brand i dropped... They liked NLS the most
