Got Cetopsis coecutiens? (Blue shark/ blue torpedo shark)

 • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Are these super-active? If they're what I've seen from a vendor before, they might be incredibly aggressive. I saw somebody who had cats like these that he said had actually burrowed into a larger fish and eaten it from the inside out. I think they might have been similarly priced, too.

Edit: googled and think we're talking about the same thing. From planetcatfish:

Compatibility
Not a fish to be trusted with others. Its natural adult behaviour is to bite lumps out of larger deep river channel fish such as the scaleless Pimelodids. Younger fish in the aquarium do not seem so dangerous, perhaps because they are young or well fed. It will however always eat smaller fish and is an accomplished hunter.

Suggested Tankmates
It is believed these are a shoaling fish, but no data is available on keeping them as such in aquaria. Perhaps armoured catfish are the best bet, but ensure all fishes are well fed.

It would be totally badass to get a bunch of these in a species tank.

They were active at the lfs, they were going nuts :p oh they sound badass, good thing i didn't get one i have a pimelodidae :p seem cool!

I had two with some geophagus with no problems they always swam and would go into a feeding frenzy over black worms and spectrum pellets.
I lost then during a tank move the water must be mature.....
