Got eggs

Got eggs tonight(first time breeding a pair of fish). Female is roughly 2.5 to 3inches. Male is about 5.5 inches. Looks like the white eggs are no good?

Give it 72 hours at least...they don't get white til then...look for black dots in a day or two...good luck, nice male.

Thanks, I will check. I am thinking about taking the parents out tonight(it will have been 24 hours since spawning), is that ok?

take the dad out after they hatch...she will incubate the eggs and help the fry get going...once they are free swimmers go ahead and remove her

Take the dad out after the eggs hatch as in when they become wigglers? or when the eggs have black spots?

I am just afraid the female might eat the eggs for some reason.
