I come by a custom floor cabinet 120 gallons. I put two new maxi-jet 1200 under gravel. Two aqua clear filters. 3 Live plants , 10 stacked pieces of fossil rock and one 24'' sunken wood. I started with 4 reg. gold sterters. Then added 3 fan tails, 5 tetra neons, 8 Platys. Need some help please. I would like to have a lot of fish and color it up. Not Really big fish want to get this one goin good and stable and get another tank to put in the kitchen but bigger

i wouldnt mix coldwater species with freshwater species.. just get a different tank for the gold fish and then up the neons to about 15 and add 1 or 2 other schooling species and some angels or discus

Those goldies will be fine with the tetras/mollies.
But omptimally the gold fish being coldwater fish should be kept in a different tank depending on the temprature your current tank is at.

I'm guessing you mean what temperature range to keep goldfish in....? Room temperature is fine as long as it doesn't get too warm or cold. Somewhere around the 66-68 degrees range is good for goldfish.

i would say scrap the goldfish and platys. and get 10 more neon tetras, and a dozen corys(colors of your liking), and some gouarmis(8 to 10? depending on species, of your color choice) i personaly love pearls "leeri" myself. think that would be a B A tank! and w? the posibillity of breeeding could be great fun.

you can also get a school of silver dollars that will be great to look at all those fish zipping around
