Picked up my free 100 Gal tank last night. Included the tank, glass lids and a nice 48" light! All I did was trade him my 29 Gallon setup and wham.. my growout tank is now a bit bigger!
I had to swap the fish a bit risky, but think they'll be alright. moved the gravel and rocks from a 20 Gal and 30 Gal to the 100 and borrowed some ceramic rings to start my XP4 can off right. Not to mention I had the emp 400 HOB that was already seasoned on the 30 Gal. The fish had to hang out in coolers with the heaters and HOBs for a few hours but I kept them warm and snug till the water temp was stable in the 100.
So far so good! I'll upload some picts to see once I get it aquascaped how I want. Now I only have two tanks a 90 and 100, one less to clean and 50 more gallons
