Nice, How big do they grow and what size tank is that one in as I want one for my tank when I get it which will hopefully be in the next 5 weeks :D :D :D :D.
 
sweet!! you've joined the dark side!! i have a long nose gar called bruno and he's about 5 feet long.

I think that they can reach 36" i have mine in a 180gal along with my 7" Silver Aro and my 12" Fire Eel and a 6" orange spot pleco.

Why Thank you Trust ! i got a bargin for mine it only cost me £11.99 $21.04 yes i'm very happy he's been eating krill since i got him home i was very suprised i was expecting him to be very scared and nervous and just lie on the bottom.

That's not too bad of a price considering you're all the way in the UK. That's great that he's eating already. If he is taking krill, try pellets. If he takes both then you're set. 90% of the gars I had I got eating pellets but some are stubborn. But if yours takes it, then that is great.
 
FFS here in Aus i seen one only so far for $800! I'm freakin jealous

Ill give him a few more days they i will try the pellets now i'm gonna sit back and admire my new fish. :hearts:

Hey Trust here's a pic of my Silver Aro! yet again poor quality i only have a web cam at the moment until my mum and dad get back from Australia they are spending 3 days in singapore and they are getting my a digital camera so there will be much better pitures to be taken.
