It swam off once it realized i was done doing pics funny huh

What is the best diet for it and is it possible for me to tell if it is male or female.

I am currently feeding it bloodworms and diced shrimp.

The funny thing is i went to the lfs to get female cherry barbs and the owner had only one so i took her and as he was taking out driftwood to get the cherry barb loal and behold we spotted this cuttie playing dead, using its spines to stickitself in the crevice, it is fat and happy from eating all of the lfs baby livebearers. So now it gets to eat all of my slow baby gambusia.

By the way sorry for the photoquality camera is crap when close-up
This beautiful cat was on $5

thanks plec and packer it is still zooming around the tank at night like crazy, besides diced shrimp, bloodworms it wont touch, could I feed it that sinks and is inexpsensive and full of vitamins and minerals for it.

wardley shrimp pellets. my angelfish and acara like them, but theyre still too small to swallow the pellets lol

i think iam going to go for kens sinking catfish pellets, 24 bucks which includes shiping to my door for 5 pounds of pellets, now that should last me a year or two.

Get NLS mini pellets in the small thing. That will definitely last you a year lol. Make sure it's the one that's atleast 35% protein.

very nice a store by me had a 8" one that they where selling for $40 so i didnt get it...... i got a 9" to 10" striped one and it eat sinking carnivore pellets and massivore.......

Nice. I've got one about 4" and a complete butterball. He eats everything that comes near him, flakes, brine shrimp, sinking carnivore pellets, algae wafers, everything. Every now and then I'll catch him cruising around when I first turn the lights on
