Well really cant get pics today maybe tommorow its in a bucket of cold water with 2 airstones. Its already escaped once and so i resorted to using harry potter books as weights.

good luck man

I've kept many eels from the size of tiny transparent larvae to big 3 footers. they are predators and escape artists not to mention wonderful at hiding. i put a tiny one in a 15 gallon tank once and after a few weeks it disappeared with out a trace. about a year later i was taking the tank down and when i pulled the UG filter out i found the eel, 2 foot long, and under the ug plate! It had been living there coming out at night to feed on my fishes and going back down the UG filter tube during the day. i had taken down the tank because so many of the fish i put in it disappeared. I thought they were dying and being hidden under the numerous rocks and plants. But no they were being eaten by the eel.
