Hey all, just moved my 55g to my new apt over the weekend. Swapped from my old play sand substrate to my new Black sand (sand blasting sand) due to the poor conditions of the tank and sand from leaving it with my old roommate, so i took it to my new apt.
I got it running last Sat, i have a top fin 60 filter and a Marineland 350 hob filter both running on the tank, and wanting to swap to a canister filter eventually.
Water is clear!!! Amonia is at 0!! PH good, im so glad.
I did have one casualty tho, poor little cory cat got sucked up in my top fin filter (strainer broke off during move) all my fish are to big to fit except him, and he stays on the bottom, but decided to venture up : ( I ordered a new strainer, so hope it gets in soon.
