Got my 2nd pike

Picked up pike #2 from aquapets today. Had some nice looking sveni around 4-5" and i decided to pick one up for $12. I'm pretty sure they can get me an Xingu 1 along with quite a few others once i get a larger tank (don't want to have a lot of growouts on my hands to find i can't find a large enough tank).

I've been changing up which LFS i like to visit and after checking almost all of them out i have to say aquapets is my favorite (if i remember that was yours aswell PP?)

No pictures as its late but i'll try and get some up sometime.
 
Yeah AquaPets was pretty good. PetWorld is not too shabby either, but they are more tetra/pleco based.

AquaPets always had some new goodies in there. I was almost able to talk them into ordering from Rapps and the like, but then I moved, so that was dropped I'm assuming.

Congrats on the pike up man!! Gotta catch 'em all!
 
I was really hoping paradise cove pets in bellevue would turn out good, but it seems the owner doesn't give a shoot about it. They had their "grand opening" 2 months ago and they haven't got even 1/3 of thier tanks stocked yet.

Also i think you were going crazy saying petsmart got in pikes, i've been to every petsmart in omaha, 1 every trip i make up there and i have yet to see a pike in there...
 
You're going to Omaha? LOL!! The ones in Lincoln had them foo. PetCo and PetSmart. They don't ALWAYS have them in stock, but I commonly saw them in there. Believe me, I would check them out every time I made a trip up to Lincoln. The one on 27th had them more often than the one on 48th and O though.


BTW, my friend that lives in Lincoln said that there are a few new stores there. GREAT ones. One of them is going to start ordering from Rapps and TFD. I'll try to find out which one it is and the location for you if you want...;)

The Fish Store (or is it Fish World, there is another one on Cotner named one of those two names) on 48th street can get in some pretty cool pikes. I've seen sp. 'cobra' in there twice.

I always visit The Fish Store when i hit up lincoln, its better then Fish World (which is on cotner) and i occasionally hit up a petsmart, and i've seen a couple pikes at The Fish Store but thats it.

Please give me the names to the new stores and whichever one is ordering from rapps and tfd.....would be awesome to get a hold of some fish i've been wanting.
