So today turned out to be a good day. My uncle sold me his 150 gallon tank with everything including filters heaters pumps and stand the works for $200 and thats a sick deal ya think. Right now im my stocklist is- 20 gallon long with a loiselli and wolf fish with divider, and a 20 gallon with a jag and clown knife fish. This set up is due to remodeling that is being done next saturday. After that the clown knife, wolf and loiselli will go in the 55 gallon growout tank. But im considering setting the 150 up in my basement so the fish have a lot of room. Thats if my dad goes for it. Alos i have 2 hujeta gars in another small tank at my fiances place and i dont think they will survive in the tank with my fish. Should i trade them in and if so what should i replace them with?

wont the wolf fish eat everything but the clown knife?

Depending on how big your hujetas are they might be alright, but they grow slow...if you like them, keep them, just let them grow out by themselves for awhile. I don't think you are overstocked (the CK will outgrow your tank, but in terms of bioload you're not overstocked anyway)...but frankly I know diddly about wolf fish so not sure what you could add.

I'm gonna keep the hujetas and grow them out and try it out. I think im good with my stocklist now so it should be a nice tank when up

Yea i know they pretty big. From what i read they usually hit 18 inches in large aquariums but there are many that claim they have ck that hit over 20 inches. It can take a few years tio hit these lengths so i should be ok for now
