Picked this big guy up today, seller said he was 12" but turns out he's actually 14" and thick! He's got a 260 to himself for a while (silver dollar and tinfoil barbs will be going soon) and i'll eventually get him a girl. Sorry about the picture quality but he hasn't quite settled in yet.

Dependong on the girl size put some hiding places . just in case instad of love it shoes teritorial aggression

Yeah he's been in the tank for less than 2 hours so he still hasn't settled in properly, can't wait to see how he turns out after a few days. If I add a female i'll be sure to add a few pipes for her to hide in if he gets nasty but for now i'm happy to enjoy him on his own!

I was pretty shocked when I picked him up as he was in a 4x18x21 tank and had been in there since he was 2".. Surprised he made it to this size and looks so healthy if i'm honest! He seems to be loving the space

I agree, looking great!! nice pick up and sure he loving the new territory. 14" fish in a 4ft tank just shame ful. what you pay for him not mind me asking.

I paid £30 so about $43, I would've paid more though because i've never been able to find one here and I never expected to find one this size. Will get some updated pics once he settles in a bit more.
