Got my electric blue jack!

Hey guys,
Check out the baby electric blue jack I just got. I thought he would be big enough to not get eaten, but sure enough, the first thing my aro does to say hi is try and eat him. But he spit him out and he looks ok now. Too close for me though! It was almost a $30 arowana snack!
Also got his buddy from the tank at the LFS a little oscar.

Of course its tough to get a pic of this little guy after that scare. But he is becoming more adventurous by the minute, following around the geophagus and looking for food.

Here is that little oscar. The colors on him look a lot better in my tank than they did at the LFS.

Yeah the aro leaves it alone now. I guess it was just curious to see if it would fit in its mouth. lol but yeah they are all doing well now. Cant wait til it gets to be a monster! how fast will an EBJD grow in comparison to the oscar?

The Oscar will probably be a solid 6-7 inches when the EBJD is about 3.
Patience and mantience is the key for EBJD's!!!

My EBJD is everones favorite fish out of my collection, despite his missing eye.
Mine is fun to watch, he isnt afraid of anyone. He'll come flying out of his hiding spot and nip my 8" oscar, than quickly swim back. Very entertaining.
Definitely slower growing than and oscar.
