Got my Eshopps Wet Dry Today

Was excited till I opened the box, and saw the acrylic had to HUGE cracks in it =[ </3

Luckily drfostersmith said they will ship a replacement out tomorrow.

Thing is a beast can't wait to get my new one.

Foster and Smith always has great customer service, I've never had any problems with them. Nice sump too bad it has a crack. What size tank are you putting it on?

Nice! I got the WD125 model for my 75. Been running for a few weeks now. I'm happy with it. My only complaint is that the overflow is a bit noisy.

I keep my tank in my bedroom and I've been running these for awhile now and they keep the overflow totally silent.

No. But they sure are quicker for DIY guy with a full plate.

Also, the price was right.

no i'd say a homemade one is better(at filtration) in every situation because you can have is custom tailored to your exact needs but buying one does save some time and a few possible headaches
