I just picked up my roughly 4" fahaka yesterday. So far he hasn't eaten at all, how long does it usually take them to get back into the swing of things? I offered him grass shrimp and then a crayfish with no luck. Anyway right now he is in a 55 gallon grow out tank with crushed coral substrate and lava rock and coral rock for decoration. Do you guys think a black or blue background would look better? I would like to post some pics of him, anyone have any digital photo tips for a nikon coolpix 4800? Thanks everyone.

took my fahaka a few weeks to get really comfortable. she ate after about a week thou.

It'll start feeding soon. I'd give it a few days with no food to help it get going - works for me.
Congrats on the puffer. Mine ate the day he came home. You might try some red clawed crabs. He'll be big in no time.
