Got my first Canister eheim 2213

Added it to my 55g, housing a Grammode, 2xClown Pleco's, and a Raphael Catfish. Current filtration was a;

Whisper 60- with just sponges. 2 that came with it and several more including a modded AC 110 sponge. And a AC 70 or 50 sponge, unsure added it awhile ago.

AC 110- with the sponge and double the bio max. Everything that came with it except the carbon.


Now
Whisper 60- with just sponges. Same as above

AC 110- with sponge, a quarter of the bio max as before, and the mechanical media the eheim came with.

Eheim 2213- most of the bio max from above, the blue pad, eheim substrat pro, white pad, carbon pad(which will be removed next week).

How am i doing?

Adding a canny is always a wise decision..You will notice improved water clarity very soon

Personally.. i think a canister is enough.. with more than one filter.. that really eats up electricity....

but not a bad set up

Doh just remember i also have a powerhead with a quickfilter attachment for polishing hehe

Yeah wanted to see how they worked, what they do, and the difference plus thinking of adding more tanks lol

I have another 55g laying around that need some work, reseal heh, and may set it up with a canister or 2. Thinking of putting a canister and hob on each of my tanks at the very least/
