Got my first D.polota for 8 $ !

I just got my Polota this afternoon for 8 $ i thought they cost much more !! anyway he is in my quarantine tank , he is a lil beauty guyz i need some really good advice cuz I have no experience in Datnoids , thanks .

that is a datnoid microlepis or indo datnoid. nice pick up

How can u tell , in the polota there are 8 bars overall, inculding a curved bar over the eye at least thats what i've been told ! how can u tell ??

Silvers usually have a bar on their tail that looks more like two dots and there is what looks like a black dot on the ear area just past the eye.

Agreed,a store nearby has three inch silvers for just under twenty dollars each and microlepis going from twenty dollars on up to fifty depending on their size.
