Very nice looking Indonesian datnoid, Datnioides microlepis! :)

nice indo...

I concur that "I concur" is an enjoyable phrase to say:D

Thanks for the replies. All I can find about their growth rate is that it is very slow. Can someone be more specific, like inches and time frames?

where did you get that one and how big is it?

Thanks for that thread. I have made it through 20 pages thus far. Everything I read so far about feeding was to feed either frozen food or live blackworms. What are the chances of me getting him to eat pellets? I fed bloodworms, and he hoovered them.

I got it at Premier Fish and Reef, and it is about 2.5 inches. There was another in the tank. I could not see it too well because the one I got was picking on it and it was hiding in the corner.

Get some size on it, and mix pellets in with frozen in the mean time. If you're lucky it'll catch on that pellets are food. Once it gets used to you feeding it (feed from the same spot every time) it'll learn what you drop in is food. Eventually it should take the pellets. Once it hits a pellet, even if it spits it out, just keep feeding pellets and it'll take them.
