well i broke down and had to buy something, as most of you know i am looking for exodons, and cant find them after a month, yes im still doing a exodon tank, im already looking for 1. but i wanted a wolf fish, so i was like what the heck if they can ordered em i will get 1, i call then up. they had 3 in stock! 1 about a 1.4 inch long, the other was about 2. and mine which is about 3. got him for 25. well i dont know what kind his is,. its a dark gray. with a stripe down the side of him, i can tell he is a wolf for sure. but he is kool. pics tomorrow. he is already liking the skull in the tank and thats his. there are 1 guppy and 2 of some sunraise fish or something my gf has had for about 3 months i stuck in there., i wonder what will be left tomorrow. lol

the little guy already has decent teeth showing. again pics once i can get a shot of him!!!!

all i need now is a name. lol

i cant stop watching him do nothing lol i love him already!!:nilly:
i have become one of you guys :headbang2

I never name anything that doesn't come when i call for it

I half agree. I like naming my monsters.

I have 4 decent tanks with about 40 fish. Only 4 have names though.

Spotted Gar - Ali (Like aligator)
Fire Eel - Fai (Thai Name)
Lionfish / Stonefish - Singh (Thai Nickname for a Lion)
Striped Bass - Osaka (Cause loves sushi as much as I do)

The Spotted Gar and Fire Eel both have quite long life spans, 15+ Years. Dont wanna call them nothing for the next 20 years.

I too can sit for hours and watch my fish. Its one of my most precious pleasures.

Welcome and enjoy your healthy addiction.

I had to do a lot of digging to get correct info on this guy.
He is actually brackish but seems to do just fine in freshwater.

When I was told he was a Lionfish, I didnt believe them as I knew him as a Stonefish. Turns out they share names.

It is quite an inactive fish, but mine swims round often, he is always in a new place, seems to get along well with my Fire Eel and is fascinating to watch when he feeds.

The infor I have read says they do not need a big tank but I have mine in a 180 gallon tank and he is very happy.

Not sure where you are but I'm in Thailand and they are available everywhere. Mine was about 3 USD :)

He ate the biggest guppie in the tank today. I even got to see it. It was sweeet.

I named him champ.

How do I know if he is happy?

Pics be up when I get home
