Got my first knifefishes - Gymnotus Coatesi

Obtained 3 Coatesi knives from LFS and they are around 3.5" now. They should grow to 12", as they were ID'd as Gymnotus Coatesi. Not sure what is the common name. Any thoughts about ID? Seems to eat pretty much everything I offer. Even JBL Novotab pellets. Hopefully that remarkable coloration will last.. :popcorn:

Less than 100e each. The price was ok IMHO, because around a year ago I tried to get these from AEI. I immediately withdrew when they said the price. 550e for one knife. :WHOA:

Post pics once you get yours! They are an amazing fish to watch, although, I almost never see mine, because he is constantly hiding. I have to wait until night to watch him come out in search of food.:popcorn:

:WHOA: Are you serious?? 100 euro for a zebra knife???
