Got my first one!

The other day at a LFS they had a tank full of albino senegals about 4 inches for $15 and it was the first time I've seen one in a store so I couldnt pass it by. For now its in a 30 gallon untill i can set up my 75. Hes an awesome fish and interesting to watch! As of now I'm just feeding him pellets. But he seems completly blind. Whenever he does swim it seems like he swims untill he hits something . Well just wanted to let you guys know.

Take your time setting up the 75 gallon tank its fine right where it is for quite a while.It really will do better in the 30 gallon till it grows some -Anne

As for eyesight bichirs rely far more on smell and taste then vision

Like beblondie said they do have bad eyesight. At first I also thought it was only me but after posting here this is what I realized...
