got my first pikes

hi all i have done it i am now the proud owner of 8 c proteus can anyone tell me what size these grow to preading and any other general info

ps i was thinking about getting some polyruptus i think that how it is spelt they are about 4 inch the same as the proteus

Aye, like i said before bro, lol, Mostly Cichlids is the bomb for pike cichlid info. They are Saxatilis pikes so they aren't gonna get as large, but still get beefy. 8 to 10" is about the common range...with the males being larger and more stocky! 8 is a great # to start out wit! Woot! Your doing grrreat!

Aye, see the ocelli...main thing to look for when trying to sex Saxatilis pikes is the spot/ocelli in the dorsal! Thankz N_N...
