I just got my 2 gulper yesterday, and i must say they are interesting fish. they just kind of bumble about at their own pace, and this morning they were lying pressed against the glass. i thought they might be dead but ive read that they have this behavior and made sure they were breathing. i wont relax for a while though because the tank their in seems to have been undergoing a mini cycle after i ordered them so im gonna have to do water changes every day if i need to.

they are still small, about 6 inches and thin. i have them in a 55 gal alone. i dont have a camera so i cant put up pics, but if i can borrow one i will. my sister complained how ugly they are but theyve already grown on me just watching them bumble about without a care in the world. id like to get another one because they seem to be pretty social
Cool. Are they eating yet. try thawing some frozen shrimp. I would rip into big chunks. Mine go crazy for it!!!!!!!
they did not eat last night but i had just put them in. they seemed very active that night so i think they are doing well. im gonna try to feed them some shrimp when i get home from work
hey, do you guys think i should put a power head in the tank for current? i have a spare one sitting around, but if it will bother them too much i dont want to do it. any thoughts on this? and if it would be good for them, should i put it near the bottom where they usuually live or near the middle so it wont be as strong of an effect?
