These guys are just too cute. I got my baby white P.clarkii and 2 baby P.alleni a little while ago, they got here safe and sound and hungry :). The little white one is female & 2", bigger than I thought she'd be. The 2 little blue ones are 1-1 1/2", a little too early to sex I think, I didn't try because I have old eyes lol
They're just darling! Does anyone have any idea at what size I'll need to start thinking of seperating the blues? I took pictures-I had to cuz they're so adorable! Oh, and I'll put their 10 g tank pictures here also-since I had such a blast decorating them :-)

Not hard at all. Probably the hardest part is making the tank fully sealed. They'll slip out of a 1/2" hole. They're really cool to watch. You shouldn't keep them with fish though, unless it's fish you wouldn't be upset over losing.

the white cray is cool. and nice aquascaping

The blue one is going to look nice in that tank when it get's bigger and developes more color.

Very nice crays!!I like the white clarki best!! Those allenii's are gonna L-O-V-E those tanks when they get a bit older!!! You've done a wonderful job with them!!!!

I know for a fact I answered these posts and I have no idea where my reply went, how strange. Anyway-thank you all very much. Does anyone know how long I might be able to keep the 2 Blues together before they get aggressive to each other?

You can sex 'em at that size, it just may be a little hard to see lol. But you definitely can, I sex them around .5" so I can start selling them, you know, when I have broods lol.

Keep an eye on them, they may get along with each other. Otherwise, they'll let you know when they no longer "enjoy" each other's company (once you have them sexed you'll have a better idea, too ... M:M is going to be bad, M:F will be alright, and F:F will be alright). But that aside, once they hit sexual maturity I'd consider separating them, which I believe should be the 3-3.5" mark for them, just because this species has a reputation for being anti-social and aggressive (but so adorable lol).

Love the white cray with the black substrate...Is that sand?
