We I just finneshed a 2 hour drip on the little guy. He pritth beat up. Fins ripped and some missing scales. Heres what I did for him. I added salt and mylaflex and keeping the light off. His temp is 81 and alot of serculation in the tank. I have him in a 25gal tank with 2 big ehiems on it. He has been chasing his reflection in the glass till the ehiem throws out its curant. (ehiems trickle filter) sucks in lots of water then pushes it back out. When its comming out he gets blown to the front of the glass. And then he dois it over and over. I hope he learns to stay away from it lol. Did I do every thing right apinions are appreciated.

Lol ive got big tanks,hes in my smallest grow out tank. Just makin shure what I did was the right meds and adding salt

Well just for the heck of it I tryed a piece of krill that was soaked,he downed it!

He should be fine in a few days, he probably got roughed up by other arowanas as they tend to do that! The fins and missing scales will heal right up. Congrads on your new silver!!!!
 
I was closly checking him out and im a litte mad he had ich! Grrrr hard to see it but I see it on his tail fin and his back,i have copper safe would this be ok to use?

Well my siver has no ick and hes a pig lol thanks for the info. I will lower the heat in 2 weeks. I just want to make sure it dont pop back up.. His fins look realy good as well. Also he isnt that skittesh of me eather. He dosnt dart or any thing. Hes pritty chilled.
